When you download DBspeed for Windows, a zip file will be delivered and it includes the following three files:
- DBspeed executable file (DBspeed_I.exe or DBspeed_II.exe)
- Oracle 11gR2 JDBC thin driver (ojdbc6.jar)
- DBspeed User Guide (DBspeed_User_Guide.pdf)
Please simply unzip the files into a folder and then you can run DBspeed by double clicking the DBspeed executable file.
There is no installation process. You can place this folder at any path in your environment.
In order for DBspeed to run,
Java Run Time environment 1.6 or higher is required in your environment.
You can use 'java -version' to check if it is already installed in your environment.
If not, it is free and you can download from Internet.
